The Bistro

A statement of local organic farming, low carbon emissions, 'Zero Kilometre'.

With a certified organic farming production at Rio do Prado – The Maker Man, our newest project aims to intensify our local organic farming practices, as well as, inspire other local producers to do so, so we can keep ensuring the freshest quality of our products.

The potatoes from várzea da Amoreira and Olho Marinho, the vegetables from Arelho, the fruits from Usseira, the onions from Sobral are some of our excuses to deep dive all the way back to the 50’s bistro scene, reinterpreting the less noble parts of the animal, focusing on local products and to some extent, reinvent the cooking process, paying homage to our traditions.

Casa de Pasto (Bistro)

in the 50's, Casa de Pasto was a restaurant concept that became really popular at the urban areas due to the "home-made type of food" being offered, keeping it authentic and offering fresh ingredients according with the season.
